XtremeDoor is one of Britain’s most respected composite door manufacturers, operating out of a high-tech 50,000 sq. ft. facility on the Wirral, Merseyside. We always like to work with local manufacturers where possible to support the North West, and this is another example of that, though our main reasons for partnering is the quality and pedigree of their range.
Every XtremeDoor is manufactured to the very latest industry standards, with each door set carrying both UKAS marking and PAS24:2016 accreditation. What sets XtremeDoor apart from competitors is their commitment to going further than the industry norm at every turn. Their 4mm GRP outer skin is double the thickness of a standard composite door. Their triple-seal outer frame eliminates draughts completely. Their hardware carries a 25-year anti-corrosion guarantee, more than double what most manufacturers offer.
We’re delighted to install the full XtremeDoor range across Cheshire, including all available colours, glazing options and locking configurations. Whether you’re drawn to the classic charm of the Traditional collection, the clean lines of the Modern range or the character of the County collection, there’s an XtremeDoor to suit your home perfectly.
XtremeDoor achieves U-values as low as 0.8 W/m²K, independently verified to be up to 17% more thermally efficient than a solid timber door. That means less heat loss and lower energy bills.
Where most composite doors use a 2mm GRP skin, XtremeDoor uses a 4mm skin, which is double the industry standard. GRP, a synthetic plastic, is also used on bathtubs and in the automative industry, largely because of how well it resists moisture, and how scratchproof it is.
XtremeDoor's outer frame features two brush seals and one bubble seal, completely eliminating draughts and tested to withstand hurricane-force winds. Most composite doors on the market make do with just two seals.
Every XtremeDoor is PAS24:2016 accredited and can be upgraded to the Secured by Design standard, the UK police initiative for home security. Anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill cylinders are fitted as standard, all protected by dedicated cylinder guards, which is really good for peace of mind.
The 4mm GRP outer skin is UV-stable and built to last, meaning you won’t need to worry about it being scorched by the sun, changing colour, or the door frame changing shape entirely. As for maintenance, the door is designed to take care of itself, we just recommend cleaning it with a damp cloth every now and again.
XtremeDoor backs its premium letter plates and handles with a 25-year anti-corrosion and surface finish guarantee, which is more than double the 10 to 12-month standard you'll typically find elsewhere.
Colours
XtremeDoor comes in a brochure choice of 15 to 16 premium finishes to not overcomplicate things, including popular options like Anthracite Grey, Agate Grey, Chartwell Green, Duck Egg Blue and Moss Green. Every colour from the Classic RAL chart is also available, along with dual-colour options so your door can look entirely different inside and out.
Glazing
XtremeDoor offers a brilliant selection of decorative glass designs to complement their composite front doors, ranging from clean contemporary panels that suit modern homes to more ornate styles that sit beautifully on traditional properties. All glass is toughened as standard, with privacy and etched options available. Side panels are offered on selected styles too, bringing extra natural light into your hallway.
Security
Your front door is the most important barrier between your home and the outside world, which is another reason we’ve chosen XtremDoor. Every door is PAS24:2016 accredited and UKAS marked, meaning it has been independently tested to the UK's most demanding security standards.
A high-security 5-hook locking mechanism is fitted as standard, clamping the door firmly into the frame, with anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill cylinders throughout. All doors can be upgraded to the Secured by Design standard for complete peace of mind.

EFFICIENCY AT ITS CORE
XtremeDoor's multi-layer construction is what gives it such a commanding edge over standard composite doors. Every element has been engineered with a specific purpose, working together to deliver a door that outperforms on security, thermal efficiency and durability.
Key layers include:
• 4mm GRP outer skin: Double the industry standard thickness, built from the same tough material used in wind turbine blades and cars. Won’t scratch easily or change appearance due to weather.
• High-density rigid insulating foam core: Slows heat transfer to deliver outstanding thermal efficiency
• uPVC edge banding: Wraps the full perimeter of the door, sealing out moisture and eliminating any risk of warping
• Triple-seal outer frame: Two brush seals and one bubble seal work together to block draughts completely
• 5-hook locking mechanism: A high-security system with anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill cylinders as standard

Yes! As with most composite door brands, XtremeDoors are really easy to keep looking great, especially because of the unique 4mm outer layer. Traditional timber doors need painting, sanding and varnishing, but all you need to do to keep composite doors clean is wipe them down occasionally with warm soapy water. Requiring minimal maintenance, as well as having elite energy efficiency, security features and a wide choice of colours is part of why they are so popular.
XtremeDoor offers a brilliant range of styles across three collections, called Traditional, Modern and County. Therefore, you have real design flexibility regardless of your property type. If you’re out in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, or in a more urban setting on the outskirts of Manchester, there will be an appropriate look.
Yes, definitely. The full XtremeDoor range works brilliantly as composite back doors as well as new front doors, bringing the same security, thermal efficiency and kerb appeal to any external doors on your home.
