Quality Product + Expert Fitting = Customer Satisfaction!

History- Northwich Glass celebrates 52 years in business in 2011 and no company has fitted more windows and doors in Mid Cheshire.  The main reason for our longevity is our commitment to providing first class service to our customers.  They trust us to fulfil many of their home improvement needs and recommend us to their friends and family

Manufacture- Northwich Glass are one of a seldom few local companies that actually manufactures its own PVCu and Aluminium products- most firms buy everything in!  We continually invest in machinery to keep us at the cutting edge of window and door manufacture to produce the best product that we can.  We are a significant local employer and are proud that we make things.  To prove this, we are more than happy for any customer to take a guided tour of our factory where they can see how we make the products before they buy them.

Showroom- We have a large, welcoming showroom, not to mention a bustling trade counter that allows our customers to browse many of our products before they buy.  We also have Victorian and Edwardian Conservatories outside which allow customers to fully appreciate the natural light and space created by these airy additions. Our staff are always on hand to offer helpful advice but will not pressurise.  Most of our products are fitted into brickwork so customers can really get the feel of what our windows and doors would look like in their house.  We also have numerous brochures available for customers to peruse either over a complimentary tea or coffee in the comfort of the showroom or to take away where they can conduct as much research as they want prior to obtaining a quote.

No Hard Sell- As a family run company, Northwich Glass has always prided itself on the service it provides to its customers.  A major part of that is ensuring that customers are comfortable dealing with us and this means 'No hard sell'.  We are up front with our prices, do not seek to bamboozle and will always give customers all the time they need to make their own decisions.  Our long history is testament to this friendly approach.

10 year no hassle guarantee!

Northwich Glass guarantees all its windows, doors, conservatories and roofline for 10 years.  We are justifiably proud of all the guarantees that we have offered and honoured over our long history.  This tradition of providing our customers with the ultimate in 'peace of mind' continues today.  Our skilled staff are able to respond quickly to any issues raised and fix any problems efficiently, proving that our guarantee 'is' worth the paper it's written on.

Homesafe Doors - The Hidden Properties

All Homesafe doors are glazed with 4mm toughened glass as standard to meet BS6262 in relation to human impact. Laminated glass is available as an option for high risk security or safety areas. For special thermal performance low emissivity glass offers even better u values. Homesafe has developed an attractive range of decorative glass options. (Secured by Design doors require laminated glass)

A unigue, patented glazing system developed exclusively for use in the Homesafe door, secures a toughened or laminated double glazing unit in place without the need for adhesive tapes or messy silicones. Adopting the principles used in millions of PVCu windows, a glass unit can be fitted or replaced in seconds by removing a bead from the inside with no special training and no need for replacement parts

At the heart of every Homesafe door is a high density expanded polystyrene core filling all internal cavities. This thermally efficient structure delivers an optimum door leaf u-value of below 1.0 w/m2 k.

A high quality laminated timber subframe is constructed to suit the individual slab size. The material has been chosen for its combination of strength, workability and dimensional stability. Strong dovetail joints lock tightly and squarely together ensuring there is no movement during manufacture or in service.

All homesafe doors are faced with high impact thermoplastic sins. Whether you choose simple white, a colour or a woodgrain foil, you need never worry about painting or staining. Thermoplastics have proven their suitability for this application during some thirty years of service in window frames and other exterior uses.

The addition of the unique 'Edge Guard' option further enhances the appearance of the door slab and add extra protection against damage. This powder coated aluminium edge is the ideal finishing touch to any of the high specification Homesafe door sets.
